Travelogue: Escapade to Siok Falls on October 7, 2023 As the sun lights up our way, the wind gently blows, kissing our skin, and the water cascades over the rocks, my friends and I radiate happiness when the cold water is washing over our bodies as we bathe in the cold, fresh water running down from the top of the mountain. It was on October 7, 2023, when we planned to go to this beautiful waterfall called Siok Falls in Esperanza, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. My friends and I entered a forest-like place just to see these beautiful falls. But as we climbed the mountain, we also faced hardships along the way as our roads were filled with either big or small rocks, making it hard to walk, but it was worth it as we arrived at a very calm and beautiful place where the falls are found. We were so excited, and as the day went by, we left that beautiful place with a smile on our faces.
